Duke:
Duke is an Australian Shepherd. He is now 3 months old. Unfortunately he got sick and is at the vets recovering. Duke is a fun loving dog. Very energetic and loves to be around other dogs and people. He starts the fights and loves to finish them. Duke is my favorite because he would force me to take him on walks and exercise with him. He would make our lives more active.
Slick:
Slick is a Grate Dane, he will be very big when he is full grown. But a big dog that is not harmful to others. Slick loves kids and kids love Slick. Slick is Slick because of his coat. It is a shiny black silky coat. He too would force an active life style on us.
General:
General is an English Bulldog, I love him because he is a brute. A small buff dog with "tude". Yes "tude" he lets you know about everything. He chases everything and he is a well respected breed with much great history and a great family tree. He needs his exercise too. But he is not all thatactive.
Spaz:
Spaz is a Maltese Poodle mix. Making him a Malti-poo. I never thought I'd see the day when i would allow a dog of this size in my home. He is small. He too like General has "tude". He cry's if he is not held and follows you around like a lost lamb. He is active and playfull. He is a dog for all sizes and will fight back.
Well folks, vote for which one you like best.

It is a toss up between the Duke and the General. Hmm? I am conflicted.
I say ...
I better sleep on it.
It's all about the General. Totally. There's nothing quite like a mug that instantly tells everyone how you are feeling that day.
I think I like Duke. Good sized dog and loyal breed.
Duke or Slick. General is kinda ugly, and Spaz - well, my in-laws have a little dog, and I think you would go kind of nuts with the barking. It's so high pitched and... ugh. They never shut up!
One other thing to add to your list of "finding things out". Find a vet you like. As in one whom you don't mind talking to. Why? First our vet is a large animal vet. He also has a family friendly personality. Now you see why I could 'like' him. Next ask him about the breeds you like and talk about your life style with him. WHY? Second, our border collie came from the pound. They know about dogs sure but my opinion differs from theres. They said Jake would be to unsocial and agressive for our kids. HA you know Jake. I was right they were wrong. The vet said Boarders are a 'you are my family what shall I do for you dog'. He is right we like jake but the family come first then the animals (no sleeping on the bed!). He learned his place. Then comes the Ausie Shep. Every one finds them to be great family dogs. Ours now wears a shock collar (for the outside fence only)It's that or the pound. She is great but I don't have quite the time or space to make her the blue ribbon champ she could be. So we will settle for 3rd or 4th. The vets opinion- Ausie sheps are a 'you are my family, I want to sit up front', kind of a dog. Rio is that way. Funny thing is Jake's barking is worse than her's he has massive seperation issues. She doesn't so much. Well we all have our reasons to add crazy. I doubt you even know the pets we have.
GET A FISH (ONLY ONE :) GOOD LUCK SAYS I!
Hi! I'm Kati's sister-in-law :) I like Spaz, we have a little dog and I absolutely love him! You just have to teach them not to bark, they learn :) Ours stops barking when I say stop :) I hate dog hair so that's what I say dogs that don't shed.. maybe a labro-doodle or something. anyway- he gets my vote ;)
